Phone calls received from community members, residents, and school principals all saying that many "diagnosed" underprivileged families were trapped at home and were not sent to isolation. Some of them were not supposed to go out because they were diagnosed and they are running out of necessities including food, medications, proper masks, COVID-19 Rapid Test Kits and thermometer. Through referrals from social workers, the West Kowloon lions has contacted some of the affected families to understand the current situation. Immediate arrangements were made to provide the necessary materials, and then manpower were also arranged to deliver the necessities to the entrance of the target residential buildings and the affected persons to pick up the supplies at the entrance of their building.
