Hong Kong Jockey Club Aided School Sports Programme Activity-Track and Field Training Course Organizer: Kowloon City Sports Association, Kowloon True Light School Co-organizer: Lions Club of West Kowloon Funding: Hong Kong Jockey Club The service targets of the activity are students from elementary and middle schools in Kowloon City District. This time, the main [track and field training courses] will be launched, and senior coaches of related sports will be hired to arrange various sports training activities, so that students can spend their spare time in a familiar school environment Participating in this project aims to promote the introduction of the challenging team sports of track and field (shot put, javelin, discus) to campus, provide students with the opportunity to continue to participate in sports, let students understand and master the technical movements of sports events, and cultivate students’ interest in sports, enhance students’ communication and response abilities, enhance their physical fitness, enrich students’ after-school life, improve students’ sports level, and promote sports culture.
